The SIM Card (uses microSIM type), the Memory Card, and the battery compartment slot for Galaxy Camera GC100 is located on the bottom right side of the camera's body. There is a flap that is covered and protected three of them. You need to open this flap cover to be able to insert the SIM, Memory and Battery. Here are the correct way to do it.

Slide the latch to the left or to the center of the phone side body, that will open the flap cover. Now you can clearly see three slots in there. If you follow the picture above, the SIM slot locates on the top left (remember, TOP LEFT near hinge of the flap cover); the microSD memory card slot locates on the top right side; and the bottom side is the battery compartment.

Make sure the cut-edge of the microSIM is on the top right (see the image) then align the card with sim slot, and push the sim card while the gold-colored contacts is facing up. If you push the microSIM until the end of the slot and release it, it should be the card locked properly. You can remove the microSIM card by pushing the card one more to make it unlocked and pop out from its slot, then pull the card out from the slot with your finger.

The same steps apply on how you can insert the microSD memory card (remember that the supported file format is FAT). Just open the flap, find the slot, align the memory card with its slot and make sure the gold-contacts facing upward, push it inside the slot until it reaches end and it's locked.

Removing the memory card can be done reversely. Push the card to make it unlocked and pop out from the slot, then pull it out.

Inserting the battery should be easy. It because the compartment is quite huge that you shouldn't get any problem on finding it. Align the battery metal contacts with the compartment connector, then push it in. That's it: It's done. To remove it, you just pull it out from the compartment. The battery which is used on this Samsung Galaxy Camer EK GC100 has 1650 mAh capacity of Li-ion type battery.
And finally, close the flap back to its place and the locked the flap cover by sliding the latch to the right (see the image). Done.

Charging the battery can be done only by using the microUSB cable connector (included in the package). Connect the microUSB end (small end) to the multipurpose jack locates on the right side of the Galaxy Camera, then connect the USB end (larger end) to the Adapter Charger, then plug the Adapter into Power electricity socket (outlet). Done. Unplug the charger whenever the batter indicator is fully charged.
