User your fingernail to open the slot's cover, then front front panel view, you can insert the micro SIM card with cutting edge is in top-right position (see the image) and gold-contacts is facing outward then push the card to the slot and press it with your fingernail until it's locked (the card didn't pop out). Now Re-attach the cover of the slot. Done.

If you need to replace the micro SIM card with new micro SIM mobile provider, you can remove the SIM card by push the edge of the SIM card side the release it, to make it unlocked (pop out). Now, after the card popped out, you can easily draw it outside until the card is removed from its slot.

If your Xperia P LT22i touchscreen hang or stop responding you can also resolve / fix this issued by force rebooting the phone. It can be done by using force restart action: Press and Hold the Volume up and Power key for aobut 5-6 seconds or until the phone vibrates once time, then release all keys. In case you just wanna shut down the phone, do the same action (hold volume up and power) but wait until the phone vibrates three times (about 10-12 seconds), then release both buttons.
