Although it has the same name of Galaxy Note, but the tutorial how to insert the SIM card or memory card are a bit differs for both of them. It's because this Android phone-tablet (currentlyh runs on Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0.3) still a kind of tablet, in which the battery commonly is a non-removable lithium-ion 7000 mAh battery. There is no back cover casing that can be opened or attached. Although, on how to use the S Pen Stylus it might be the same.
SIM & Memory Slot of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Before you try to insert the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) Card and also the microSD card, let's give you a brief look on where you should find the card slot for both of these cards.

The picture that we gave you above can be used as a maps for finding the memory card slot and also the SIM / USIM (Universal SIM) Card slot. They are shown on the top side of this 10.1 device (landscape) and we numbered 4 and 6. We also give you the location of Volume key and Power key (two important rule keys that you might need to know).
Inserting SIM / USIM on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
After you could mark the card slot location on this Android device, you just need to insert t the SIM card to its slot. Make sure the cutting edge is facing up and the gold-contacts is facing down, then slide it in into the SIM card slot.

Warning! Don't insert the microSIM or mini SIM: use the standard SIM card.
To insert the microSD card, it the same ways just like how you can do it on SIM card. Push the card into card slot until it locks in its card slot. Remember to ensure that the gold-colored contacts facing down.
Removing the memory would be easy: push the memory card until it's unlocked, the slide it out. The same ways also applied on removing the SIM card from its slot. The internal memory already has 16GB (the lowest, there are 32GB/64GB options though).
FYI, the device also planned to be able to upgrade to Jelly Bean Android 4.1. Another good new is that the phone powered with 2GB RAM with quad core 1.4GHz processor (along with Mali-400MP GPU and Exynos 4412 chipset).
Using S Pen, remove it from SPen's compartment Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The S Pen was already attached on its compartment. You need to remove it to be able to use it. Use your tip of finger to slide the S Pen out. The S Pen provide on the left-bottom side of your G Note 10.1 (back side with 5 Megapixel Camera). See the image to make sure what we mean for.

In case the tips of S Pen isn't works anymore, you must go to Samsung Service Center or Samsung Shot to buy the new one. Then you can replace it the older S Pen tip with the new once. You can grab and pull out the tip with tip extrator tool then insert the new once. If you have a problem with this step, ask Samsung Service Center to help you inserting the S Pen's tip.

Factory Data Reset, Charge Battery Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT N8000
Remember, pressing the power button for about 10 seconds would help you to reboot / force to restart your Galaxy Note 10.1. Even if your touchscreen stop responding or freeze, it still work. But in case you wanna resolve too many frozen problem just do Hard Reset on this phone-tablet. Go to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset > Reset device > Erase everything.
